Application
Aluminium sulphate in water treatment is mainly used as a flocculant in the production of drinking water.
The application of liquid aluminum sulfate wastewater treatment is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
• Coagulant:
Aluminum sulfate has a strong coagulation effect and can react chemically with suspended matter, colloidal substances, etc. in water to condense them into larger particles, which is convenient for subsequent precipitation and filtration treatment. By adding an appropriate amount of aluminum sulfate, the suspended matter in the water can be effectively removed and the clarity of the water quality can be improved.
• Decolorizer:
Aluminum sulfate can react chemically with dye molecules in water to make them lose color, thereby achieving the effect of decolorization. This is particularly important in the treatment of dye industrial wastewater. By adding an appropriate amount of aluminum sulfate, the dye in the wastewater can be effectively removed and the pollution to the water environment can be reduced.
• Phosphorus removal agent:
Phosphorus is a common pollutant in wastewater and has a significant impact on the ecological environment of water bodies. Aluminum sulfate can react with phosphate ions in water to form insoluble aluminum phosphate precipitates, thereby removing phosphorus contaminants. By adding an appropriate amount of aluminum sulfate, the phosphorus content in the water can be effectively reduced, improving overall water quality.
• Adjusting pH value:
Aluminum sulfate is strongly acidic and can be used to adjust the pH level of wastewater.
