Isolate the leaked contaminated area and restrict access. It is recommended that emergency responders wear dust-proof masks (full-face masks) and anti-toxic suits. Use a clean shovel to collect the substance into a dry, clean, and covered container, then transfer it to a safe place. In case of a large spill, collect and recycle it or transport it to a waste disposal site for treatment.
In case of accidental contact with aluminum sulfate, corresponding first aid measures should be taken. For skin contact, remove contaminated clothing and rinse with flowing water; for eye contact, lift the eyelids, rinse with flowing water or normal saline, and seek medical attention; for inhalation, move to an area with fresh air, and if breathing is difficult, provide oxygen and seek medical attention; for ingestion, drink plenty of warm water, induce vomiting, and seek medical attention.
